Jeffery S. Marshall, Esq.

Jeffery Marshall is licensed to practice law in Florida and Michigan. He graduated from Cooley Law School, in Lansing, Michigan, in 2007. While in school, he worked as a Certified Legal Intern at the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, in Detroit, Law Clerk for Great Lakes Legal Group (Estate Planning) and Michigan Pension Rights Project for Elder Law of Michigan, Inc. After graduation, Jeffery started at the Law Offices of Julianne M. Holt, Public Defender, in Tampa. He was quickly in trial and rose through the ranks becoming a Felony Division Chief in a record-48 months. When not in court, he is routinely traveling to crime scenes, investigating his cases, deposing witnesses, and training other lawyers. He is recognized by judges, lawyers, and court staff in-and-around Tampa for his experience and effectiveness. He has been recognized as a Gideon’s Warrior for exceeding expectations in indigent defense. In 2017, Jeffery was undefeated in eight jury trials, securing six not-guilty verdicts for deserving clients and two mistrials. He has tried over 80 jury trials as a criminal defense lawyer.

In addition to his vast criminal and trial work, he spent much of 2010 and 2011 working in Michigan for Stillman Law Firm and by contract with other major law firms. He has experience in Florida and Michigan with intellectual property disputes, non-compete clause disputes, anti-trust litigation, mass-media broadcast disputes, employment and labor disputes, and family law.

He has been responsible for the oversight of tens-of-thousands of cases over twelve years. Focusing whatever spare time left, he engineered training programs and helped lawyers refine presentation skills and gain skills necessary for effective advocacy inside and outside the courtroom.

Jeffery is now extending his passion for helping indigent defendants to vulnerable victims that suffered harm from reckless people and companies. He will go out of his way to safeguard the dignity and rights of a client in need, no matter the struggle. Call the Tampa Legal Team today to discuss how Jeffery can help you.
